Playcamp has arrived in Singapore as a monthly event organized by the Full Circle Community Meetup Group, focusing on small business owners or individuals interested in starting businesses. Organizer Elena Seow sent pictures and a report on the first Playcamp, subtitled Busines Game Night. The Playcamp Singapore organizers are focusing on one Collaboration Framework/serious game per event, and first up was Circle of Infuence, invented by Deb Colden. Circle of Influence is a collaboration framework for helping you determine who in your network can help you achieve a specific goal.
"We had our first "Playcamp" last night using the Circle of Influence," Elena writes, "and I am happy to share that it went really well! The participants, who were primarily small business owners, only complained that the event wasn't long enough! They wished that we had more time for discussion." Elena continues, "Circle of Influence is indeed a very powerful tool. The conversations the framework triggered, prompted participants to focus on what they have been missing/denying or not consciously doing with their network of people. Next month is Empathy Map! We're looking forward to it!"
